On the 1stof May, Adstate appointed Pål Reinert Bredvei as the company's new CEO. Pål takes over from Eigil Rudsar who steps down, having led the company since 2013.
Pål Reinert was most recently CEO and co-founder of the IT company Documaster who have modernised information management and developed the “archiving solutions of the future”. His previous experience among others includes Egmont, Jotun, StepStone and Nokia.
“When Pål Reinert decided to step down from Documaster, following so many years of weekly commuting, we were very happy that he chose Adstate. With his previous experience within management and digital services, this will be a valuable contribution to the continued growth ahead of Adstate with the digitalisation of the funeral industry” says founder and majority shareholder Simon Hansen Elvestad.

Adstate is a market leader in digital services for the funeral industry in the Nordics where the company has millions of users of their online services. Adstate has opened a sales office in Bratislava which manages markets in the rest of Europe. The company also has employees in Hyderabad in India where the some of the digital solutions are developed.
The company has been working on new strategies for further expansion and investment in Online Funeral Services. When the chance to get Pål Reinert Bredvei on the team, the timing for a CEO change was very good. Eigil Rudsar is stepping down on his own accord and is supporting Pål Reinert through a transitional period.
